SMS Messaging Terms

These SMS Messaging Terms govern the text messaging program operated by Sterling Capital Partners ("Sterling Capital Partners," "we," "us," or "our"). By providing your mobile number and agreeing to receive text messages from us, you agree to these terms.

Program description

Sterling Capital Partners uses text messaging to support the clients and contacts who have asked us to reach them this way. Depending on your relationship with us, messages may include:

• Updates on the status of an inquiry, application, or transaction
• Appointment and meeting confirmations and reminders
• Document, signature, and funding requests
• Account and service notices
• One-time passcodes and account verification codes you have requested
• Replies to questions you send us by text

We do not send promotional or marketing text messages under this program.

How to opt in

You can consent to receive text messages from Sterling Capital Partners in any of these ways:

• On our website. Enter your mobile number and check the SMS consent box on our Contact Us form. The box is unchecked by default and is never required to submit the form or to purchase any service.
• In writing. Provide your mobile number and check the SMS consent box on an engagement letter, onboarding form, or client contact form.
• Verbally. Ask a member of our team during a call or meeting to enable text updates for your number. We record the date, time, and wording of that request.

Consent to receive text messages is not a condition of purchasing any product or service from Sterling Capital Partners. You must be at least 18 years old and the subscriber or authorized user of the mobile number you provide. This program is available only to mobile numbers in the United States.

Message frequency

Message frequency varies and depends on your account activity and the services you have with us.

Cost

Message and data rates may apply. Sterling Capital Partners does not charge for text messages, but your mobile carrier's standard messaging and data rates apply to every message you send or receive. Contact your carrier if you have questions about your plan.

How to opt out

You can stop receiving text messages at any time. Reply STOP to any message from us. You will receive a single confirmation message and then no further texts, unless you opt in again.

You may also opt out by emailing info@sterlingcapitalpartner.com or calling (305) 705-5244. Opting out of text messages does not remove you from email or phone contact, and does not affect the services we provide to you.

Supported carriers

This program is supported by major U.S. carriers including AT&T, Verizon Wireless, T-Mobile, and their affiliates and MVNOs. Carrier support may change without notice.

Delivery

Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Message delivery depends on your carrier, your device, and network conditions, and cannot be guaranteed. Do not rely on text messaging to report an urgent matter — call (305) 705-5244 instead.

Changing your number

Tell us promptly if your mobile number changes or is deactivated so we do not send messages intended for you to someone else. You agree to indemnify us for claims arising from your failure to notify us of a change.

Privacy

No mobile information will be sold, rented, or shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Information sharing with subcontractors who provide support services on our behalf, such as customer service platforms and messaging providers, is permitted solely so those providers can help us deliver the messages you asked for. All other use case categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties. See our Privacy Policy for full details.

Changes to these terms

We may update these SMS Messaging Terms from time to time. The "Last updated" date above reflects the most recent version. Continued participation in the program after an update means you accept the revised terms.
